The Owners
Melissa & Tiffany Vinkler are the owners of Southern Stars Academy. It has been Melissa’s dream since college to open her own gym and Tiffany has always wanted to run her own Aftercare program. Melissa has been coaching gymnastics and cheerleading for 14 years and loves working with children of all ages! Tiffany has also been coaching preschool gymnastics and has managed afterschool programs for 12 years. Everyone LOVES Ms. Tiffany! Melissa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Health and Tiffany has a Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Psychology. Our goal as sisters is to make each member a part of our family as well.
Amy Keltner
Amy is our Secretary Star! She will also help with the Club House Stars. She has three children who attended the local Camden schools and has a passion for working with children. Every time you walk in our door you will see her smiling face!
Coach Dee
Coach Dee is our new Warrior Fitness coach. She has been at our gym since 2013 with her daughter who is on our competitive gymnastics team. She has a black belt in karate and has been doing martial arts for several years. She loves working with kids and they love her back!
John Vinkler
John does all of our computer & technological work. He has worked with kids for 6+ years and loves to get down on their level and have fun. He is currently working as the service manager at a Manage Service Provider in Columbia.
